Who Needs This Service?

Realtors and homebuyers contract the inspection services of Maine Septic & Pumping to assist them in making an informed decision regarding a properties septic system.

Whats Involved?

 A through inspection includes locating, digging and removing the covers on the treatment tank. Assessing the baffles; the sludge and scum levels in the tank; and checking the general integrity of the tank. Pumping is suggested to complete the tank inspection.

The inspection continues tracing the exiting pipe from the treatment tank to the pump chamber and/or distribution box and out to the absorption area. These items are located, dug and inspected. The absorption area will have one to two test areas dug to determine the liquid levels in this area.

A full inspection usually involves approximately 2 hours of field work. Your inspection can be performed within a few days of your call.
